Our History

In 1960, Mr & Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix was born when Herb and June Taylor, sick of suffering through many bland drinks that claimed to be Bloody Marys, decided to create a consistent, delicious standard.

It didn't take long before the Mr & Mrs T full-bodied blends  were being served in bars and restaurants throughout Los Angeles. Once it became an American Airlines standard, savvy passengers started demanding Mr & Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix in restaurants, at liquor stores -- in short, wherever they went. Consumer demand pulled the Taylors' delicious mixer through the channels of distribution.

In 1987, the Mr & Mrs T brand was acquired by the Mott's USA division of Cadbury Schweppes. Looking to grow the brand even further, Mott's introduced a Horseradish Bloody Mary Mix marketed to those who have always made the drink from scratch. It launched in February 2003.

The brand has continued to grow and thrive, and is currently the top-selling brand of liquid cocktail mixers in the U.S. and a staple of bars, restaurants and American homes.  The "Made from Scratch Taste" product offerings include Original Bloody Mary, Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary, Horseradish Bloody Mary, Mai Tai, Margarita, Pina Colada, Sweet & Sour Mix, Strawberry Daiquiri-Margarita, Whiskey Sour Mix, Old Fashioned Mix, Tom Collins Mix and Manhattan Mix.

Today, Mr & Mrs T Cocktail Mixers is part of Plano, Texas-based Dr Pepper Snapple Group, an integrated refreshment beverage business marketing more than 50 beverage brands throughout North America.
